Chop Suey

Chop Suey (Grandma Jewell and Mom's,,, tweeked some by me!)

1 1/2 pounds chop suey meat
1 can diced tomatoes or if you have canned tomatoes use those
1 can water chesnuts (optional)
1 can bamboo shoots
1 can bean sprouts
1 can baby corn
chopped celery
chopped onion
few all spices
salt/pepper/garlic powder
kitchen bouquet
soy sauce
worcestershire sauce
vegetable broth or beef or chicken,, whatever you have on hand
rice or mashed potatoes

Brown chop suey meat, then put in slow cooker or pressure cooker, or a pot if you are not comfortable using a pressure cooker. Cover meat w/broth and water, add chopped onion and celery, salt, pepper, garlic, cook until meat is tender and done. Add the rest of the vegetables, drained, including tomatoes, undrained, add more chopped celery (cut a little larger), all spice, few drops of kitchen bouquet, some shakes of worcestershire, and more shakes of soy sauce (sorry i don't measure), salt and pepper it good, add a little garlic powder, stir it up. NOW, if you want it thickened, mix some flour and hot water in a bowl and whisk, like your making gravy and add it to your chop suey, and stir,, if it is not thick enough, you need to keep making more flour mixture. cook until veggies are somewhat tender.
